A picture of the woods at my parents' house

Certain paths are smooth, gentle, and straight of way,
Others - rough and twisting, full of thorns -
Are unavoidable courses of tribulations for ethereal beings.

Take heed what path is tread,
For steps, once taken, can never be retraced,
And a portal rejected may not come again.

Whatever road you choose to take,
Do not simply walk upon it, but Dance!
For each pathway is traveled but once.

Focus not upon what lies beyond the far-off horizon,
But enjoy this moment of the journey.
It will never come again.
